How do I attach an image in the comment section of my already published Instagram post?

I'm sorry, but it is not possible to attach or add images to the comment section of an already published Instagram post. Instagram only allows users to add images when creating a new post or as a direct message.

What is the easiest way to insert a photo into an already published Instagram post?

Currently, Instagram does not allow users to directly edit or add photos to an already published post. Once a photo is uploaded and published on Instagram, it cannot be edited or replaced with a new photo without deleting the original post. If you wish to update a post with a different photo, you will need to delete the existing post and create a new one with the desired photo.

How can I include a photo in a comment on my own Instagram post?

To include a photo in a comment on your own Instagram post, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Instagram app on your smartphone.
  2. Go to your profile by tapping on the "Profile" icon at the bottom right corner of the screen.
  3. Scroll through your posts and select the desired post on which you want to comment.
  4. Below the post, you'll find the comment box. Tap on the box to start typing your comment.
  5. To add a photo to your comment, tap on the camera icon beside the comment box. This will open your photo gallery.
  6. Choose the photo you want to include in the comment from your gallery. You can select multiple photos if you wish.
  7. Position and adjust the photo by pinching or spreading your fingers on the screen.
  8. Once you're satisfied with the photo's placement, tap on "Done."
  9. Finish typing your comment if necessary, and then tap "Post" to submit your comment with the included photo.

Note: Including a photo in a comment is currently only supported on the Instagram mobile app and not available on desktop.

How can I attach additional pictures to an Instagram post that is already on my profile?

Unfortunately, you cannot attach additional pictures to an existing Instagram post. However, there are a couple of workarounds you can use to showcase additional pictures related to the original post:

  1. Create a Multi-Image Post: When creating a new post, you can select multiple pictures to upload in one post. To do this, open Instagram, tap the "+" button to create a new post, select the "Multiple Image" icon (looks like overlapping squares), choose the additional pictures you want to include, and then proceed to add captions, location, etc.
  2. Create a Carousel Post: Similar to a multi-image post, a carousel post allows you to swipe through multiple pictures within one post. To achieve this, follow the same steps as above for creating a new post, select the "Carousel" icon (looks like stacked squares) when selecting your pictures, and then add captions, location, etc.
  3. Update the Caption: If you want to share additional pictures without creating a new post, you can update the caption of the existing post to mention that there are more pictures related to it. For example, you can add something like, "Swipe left to see more pictures!" or "Check out my story for more photos!"

Remember that you cannot directly upload additional pictures to an existing post, but these methods will allow you to showcase more images related to the original post.
